Common questions

How do I start the free trial?

Download Entrain from the App Store and open it. When prompted, choose Entrain Pro to begin your 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then to avoid being billed.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name (Apple ID) at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Entrain, then cancel or change your plan.

To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your current period ends.

Do I need headphones?

For binaural beats, yes — they rely on a slightly different tone in each ear, so headphones or earbuds are required.

For isochronic tones, no — they pulse a single tone on and off, so they work fine through your phone speaker, a Bluetooth speaker, or AirPlay. Curious about the difference? See binaural vs. isochronic.

The audio stops when my screen locks — how do I fix it?

Entrain is designed to keep playing while your screen is locked. If it stops, check a few things on iOS: make sure Silent mode isn't muting playback, that Low Power Mode isn't aggressively suspending the app, and that you're on the latest version of Entrain and iOS.

If it still happens, email us with your device model and iOS version and we'll dig in.

How do I restore my purchases?

If you reinstall Entrain or set up a new device, open the app, go to settings, and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe, and your Entrain Pro access will be restored.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your Entrain purchase, and request a refund. We're generally unable to issue refunds directly.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email support@getentrain.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We'll remove your account and any associated data we hold. Cancelling your subscription is handled separately through Apple.
